Yesterday I saw a commercial for an HP printer, and it showed a bunch of snowoarding stuff. I got that familiar pain my chest that comes around this time of year when you really want summer to be over for good! I even went so far as to pull out my board and wax it up. I added a couple of stickers to it, and strapped in.
Standing in the living room strapped into my snowboard in my tennis shoes brought some odd looks from my wife. Makes me wonder if I am the only one that does this sort of thing. I know there are others that go crazy this time of year from my days of being a ski bum in Breckenridge. However, that was a while ago, and I know that with age I should calm down. I just get too darn excited.
So, I looked at the snow report and I even downloaded Snowmate for my computer (though I would not recommend doing that). NO SNOW!! DANG!! Then I looked at the Breckenridge WebCam and there it was, snow all over!! So I looked at the surface observations to make sure it was true.

It's been coming down for four hours. I am so excited I might sleep with my snowboard tonight.
