ANWR would not destroy the environment! We have technology so good now that the drill sites would be almost undetectable when we are done. Other countries have no such technology. I don't see how it makes sense to ask them to destroy the environment in their countries, so we can save a desolate place like ANWR. If you are truly green then the environment anywhere on the globe is as precious as anywhere else. Why not use the greener technology? Especially when it will save our economy and keep us safer?
