I tend to get writers block and not post for weeks due mostly to the fact that it is already said everywhere else. The problem with that is that even tho it is said everywhere on the internets, people read a finite amount, which usually corresponds with what the main stream media tells them to read. Not because they agree with this skewed view of the world, but because most are not very savvy with the internet. The can type in google.com or CNN.com, but unless you know exactly what kind of news you are looking for and how to harness the full potential of a search engine, you will get your news from the major news sites. Therefore it is good to post alternate views and provide a lot of links to other sources. These links help the search engines know what is important. The internet is the only way these views will ever be heard.

So, let me point to an excellent blog that deserves links (No Man's Blog)where he tells how he overcame this same dilemma.

But then I realized that these days nobody ever says anything that hasn’t been said. Nobody is capable of saying anything completely original, in other words. It’s simply a function of the sheer number of people who have lived before us. And that doesn’t stop millions of people from shooting their mouths off every day, now does it?

So the way I see it, therein lies my license to blog.

With that said I am not the smartest man out there, but this is a fun hobby.
